Some people have noticed a small problem with the system. It doesn't like spaces
in the fields where you submit your info. So, for example, instead of "Los
Angeles" enter "Losangeles." That is only a one time process, and then you will
be able to vote everyday with ease using just your email address!
* Also, I
have been informed that Firefox has some compatibility issues with the website
system. So please use another browser to vote. Perhaps that is just an issue
with Firefox on Macs, because I have been able to use it successfully over the
last few days on a PC. So, use whatever works for you!

Stabilizing structures and buildings, fixing cracks

infrastructure, including education (we run an elementary school)

Well the contest has ended. I'm really pumped that we made it to 3rd place (although I am def disappointed that we didn't get up to 1st place). The final results will be revieled in 6-8 weeks. You guys did an awesome job getting the word out and voting to support our orphanage in Haiti.

It's almost too crazy to believe, except that I had prayed about it and know it's a miracle, but God caused us to win this contest!
I knew when the voting ended that we were in 3rd and there wasn't anything I could do about it, except pray. I told God, "If you want us to have this money for Haiti, then you are going to have to do something to make it happen because it's impossible at this point." Then weeks went by without hearing anything.
On Mar 31st, I got some papers in the mail to fill out for the contest. It didn't say anything about winning, just fill this out by such and such date. So I thought, maybe they just sent this to the top 3, in case someone's job or something disqualifies them. So I filled it out. But I had some questions.
So I called the person who sent it to me and asked a bunch of questions. She was very nice and explained everything. At the end of the conversation I asked if she had sent this to the top 3 people. She said that was a common thing for contests to do, but in this case, they had declared me as the winner! Can you believe it! Declared as the winner!
That is all God right there! There was no way that I won and God made it happen. It is a miracle for us, and for Haiti. $5K out of nowhere! It's also the favor of God on his faithful servants. We did nothing to deserve this, and God changed the minds of who knows how many people to bless us! Our God is the God of the impossible! Just have faith.
